Picture the scene – towering lager cans, as high as the eye can see…
No, it’s not a dream – it’s actually the exterior of Glasgow’s Wellpark Brewery, which is flanked by giant cans of Tennent’s (is there actual beer inside of them? Let’s hope so).
But believe it or not, the inside of Wellpark is even better. See for yourself with this Big Deal on entry to a brewery tour and beer flight…
Could this beer magic?
If the fantasy-sized lager tins aren’t enough, then the wafting hoppy scents coming from Tennent’s Wellpark Brewery should soon tempt you in.
And if you want to learn a thing or two about beer, then this is the place – after all, it has been brewing the magic barley juice for nearly 500 years.
Today’s Big Deal is a chance to peek behind-the-scenes, learn about the history of Tennent’s and sample some of the tipple.
Never gonna give brew up
Available Sunday to Friday from 2nd September until the 13th December, this experience will give you an insider view of what makes Tennent’s so special.
Your guide will take you on a 60-minute access all areas tour, where you will learn about the brand’s history, production and processes.
You will even take a trip down memory lane to view classic adverts and packaging, plus learn about what Tennent’s is up to nowadays with football and music sponsorship.
Your tour will take place in a group and, as you can buy multiples, why not round up a few pals?
Beer I go again
Of course, touring is thirsty work, which is why you will get to enjoy a flight of three special export beers as well.
This way, you can learn a little bit more about the unique flavour blends of different Tennent’s creations.
And afterwards, you can head to the gift shop to pick up souvenirs.
The Wellpark Brewery tour has been collecting praise on TripAdvisor. This recent reviewer loved their visit:
‘We did the tour on Friday when we had some visitors over from Norway. Marco gave us a really great tour – the scale of the brewery is really impressive – even for someone like me who doesn’t drink beer! The museum, outside murals and gift shop are worth a look as well.’
Let it beer, let it beer…
With a chance to peek behind the scenes at a historic brewery and sample three export brews to boot, this Big Deal is well worth raising a foaming glass to.
So if the hops lover in your life has a birthday coming up, then you know what to do, don’t you?
