Since opening the doors in 2007, The Chippy Doon the Lane has offered fresh and up-market twist on the great British tradition of fish and chips.

Situated just off Buchanan Street, at the end of McCormick Lane, the restaurant is housed on the first floor of Glasgow’s iconic McCormick Printers building.

Having completely transformed the building, the owners have been serving up fresh and authentic fish and chips to the families, diners and shoppers of Glasgow ever since.

The works

Available Sunday to Friday from noon until 9pm, the offer is for two people to sit in and have a fish supper with the house tartar sauce, lemon, bread and butter plus tea or coffee.

All the fish suppers are freshly battered, cooked to order and served with proper, hand-cut chips.

Customers can choose between fish such as coley, plaice, haddock, cod or lemon sole – all of which have been carefully selected with sustainability in mind.

Sea bass is excluded from this deal.
