The Big Deal is available from Sunday to Thursday for dinner and is for one person to enjoy a delicious two course meal from the prix fixe menu at La Bonne Auberge, including tea or coffee to finish your meal.
The prix fixe menu changes regularly but typical sample starters might be the smoked peppered mackerel rillettes with fresh grapefruit, creamy lemon and chive dressing or the rich chicken liver parfait which is flavoured with garlic and ruby port.
Popular main courses include the pan-fried sea bass with herb new potatoes and spinach, topped with boiled egg, caper, cornichon and shallot mayonnaise as well as the paprika and garlic scented chicken with warm chorizo, butter bean, tomato and olive salad.
The Big Deal is for a starter and main course or main course and dessert.
Those with a sweet tooth can look forward to dishes like the warm coconut and raspberry tart with pistachio ice cream and chocolate sauce or you could loosen your belt a little and tackle La Bonne Auberge sundae which is made with raspberry sorbet, strawberry and vanilla ice creams with honeycomb and passion fruit.
