Kelbourne Saint is a family-friendly gastropub on Queen Margaret Drive in the West End, near to Hillhead underground.

It is based in a former church hall and its raftered, cloud-painted ceiling definitely gives the place plenty of vibes. Basically, if Michelangelo decided to open a groovy West End hangout and serve hangover-busting eggs bennie, it would look a lot like this.

The Saint is a great place for families and includes a large beer garden, kids’ play area, deck chairs and heated huts. It also has street parking nearby.

If you fancy a relaxing brunch followed by a stroll around the Botanics or Byres Road shops, then this is where to head.

Pop fact: the pub was also the location for the infamous Trainspotting scene where Begbie threw a pint into the crowd. Now you know.
