‘Great small hotel. Stayed here overnight on a Saturday. Bar lunch high quality as was the coffee. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful without being intrusive. Car parking ok on the street and our room on the second floor was very comfortable with an excellent shower room. Be warned however that you have to climb stairs as there is no lift. There was a function on that night but it finished at midnight so not really a problem, if you want a quieter room go for the second floor. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of cold or cooked food.’
‘What a fantastic place. All staff were great. Margaret, John, Amy, Sam, William were all great… arriving and being given a free upgrade was brilliant. Loved the place and would definitely return. Location for football or gigs at hampden is spot on. Crosshill Station fine and handy or cheap enough for a taxi to and from town.’
‘Arrived at this hotel in the south side of Glasgow and received a friendly welcome. My room was in the annexe of the hotel and I can’t fault it. Large spacious immaculate room with a hospitality tray that included tea, cakes and bottled water. Bathroom was huge and also spotlessly clean with added extras of soap, shampoo, conditioner and moisturiser. Dressing gowns and slippers as an extra bonus. Quiet and peaceful with a lovely view over the park.’
