Fancy a spot of adventure golf, ideally with a pirate ship, rope bridge and river rapids included?
If you would rather channel Jack Sparrow than Tiger Woods when swinging a club, then walk the plank to this Big Deal from Adventure Golf Island in Fife.
Suitable for children and adults, you can enjoy the whole experience beneath a cosy heated dome, making it ideal for any weather.
Head to the Caribbean – in Fife
Adventure Golf Island in Fife Leisure Park is a Pirates of the Caribbean-inspired crazy golf course for both children and adults.
The leisure park is a 45-minute drive from Edinburgh and around an hour from Glasgow. The new heated dome means that you can stay warm and dry, and as the course is fully floodlit, you could even make this an evening adventure.
As Fife Leisure Park has plenty of eating spots, you could easily while away a few hours there.
Pirate-themed golf for two
This Big Deal is for two people to try out the Treasure Island course at Adventure Golf Island. The experience will last around an hour, plus kids will get the chance to take part in a simultaneous treasure hunt and will also be given a souvenir goodie bag.
As you can buy multiples, you could snap up this offer for the whole family or even for a group of pals.
You also have the option of either upgrading to the Pirates Cove course or adding it on as an extra. You can arrange this directly with the venue.
This offer is available seven days in the evening until 25th September 2019.
Thrilling special effects
The Treasure Island course is in a beautifully landscaped setting of waterfalls, fountains and river rapids. You will be able to see Captain Jack Sparrow’s Jail, the Caribbean Adventure pirate ship and the rope bridge. You can also expect some exciting special effects along the way.
The biggest challenge is the daringly difficult Hole 11 – do you have what it takes to conquer it? Plus if you can master the ‘18th Hole Challenge’ at the end, you will win a free round at Adventure Golf Island.
Treasure Island has full disabled access and pushchairs can easily be taken around the course. All equipment will be provided for you.
This TripAdvisor reviewer loved their visit to Adventure Golf Island in Fife. We have edited their comment for shortness:
‘Great activity for a rainy day. This is a great place for family fun when it’s cold or rainy outside. It’s all under cover in a big dome… they also run a treasure hunt to do at the same time as you go round the course.’
Shiver me timbers
Available until September and with multiples available, this pirate-themed golf experience would make a great summer holiday treat for the family.
That said, you could also head there with your other half for a date with a difference.
