Watching a spider rebuild his web is said to have inspired Robert the Bruce to try and try again.
We reckon that today’s Big Deal from de Brus microbrewery, bar and restaurant is an offer which lots of people will want to try several times.
A handsome, two-storey townhouse, located in the centre of Dunfermline and just along the road from the Alhambra Theatre, The Bruery makes its own craft beers and ciders.
Since opening in 2013, its beers and menus packed with local produce have attracted many fans from both Dunfermline and further afield.
With a new chef recently installed, The Bruery is becoming even more popular and today’s Big Deal is a great introduction to the charms of Dunfermline’s only independently owned brewery and bar.
Available noon to 9pm, Sunday to Thursday, this offer comes in two forms.
Option one is for two people to each have a juicy sirloin steak with a bottle of house red, white or rosé to share.
Option two is the same as option one but includes a chilled bottle of Prosecco rather than wine.
The sirloin steaks are from Aberdeen Angus cattle and are served with proper chunky chips.
The new chef has been wowing diners on TripAdvisor:
‘Lovely family meal. Popped in here on Sunday for a meal with my two kids and absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic and the staff couldn’t do enough for the kids. Must try the beer and cider too! The raspberry cider was amazing :)’
‘Microbrewery. Visited on a busy Saturday for dinner and drinks. Service was friendly and staff knowledgeable on products and interested in finding out opinion of new menu. Good selection of food and drink with the focus on speciality beers and local food producers. Nice atmosphere with ability to sit outside in warmer weather… Would recommend, especially if attending a show at the nearby Alhambra Theatre.’
If you haven’t already visited, this offer would make a great introduction to The Bruery.
It would also be ideal for a bite before a show at The Alhambra; perfect for a night out with friends and a sweet option for a date night.
Moreover, it would also make tasty centrepiece for a day trip to Dunfermline and its historic Abbey and Palace.
A steak dinner with wine for two is a very good reason to hit the buy button.
Factor in the additional appeal of trying the de Brus award-winning craft beers and this is one deal that you will want to try and try again.
