Golf is becoming a bit of a rock star these days.

What, you don’t believe us? Maybe you just haven’t tried a mind-bending themed course yet. And we’re not talking crazy golf — we’re talking crazier golf.

For instance, today’s Big Deal from Scrapheap Golf in Edinburgh city centre gives you the chance to try out both scrap metal and wizard-themed courses. Pizza slices and drinks are thrown in as well.

Let’s par-tee

This Big Deal is for one round of golf each on the atmospheric Scrappy Doo and Wizard courses.

Option one is for two people and option two is for four. A pizza slice each from the Scrappy Bar is included, as well as either a Brew Dog IPA, lager, spirit with mixer, glass of house red or white wine or soft drink each.

The offer is available until 31st March 2020, including weekends. Both courses are suitable for ages 10 and over. You can even buy multiples and go in a group of up to six.

Scrappy Doo course

This construction site-themed golf course will soon bulldoze over your boredom.

You will get to play 9-holes while navigating your way through delightful debris like halfpipes, heavy machinery and hazardous materials.

But do you have what it takes to reach scrapheap supremacy?

Wizard course

Next, you can steer your broomstick to that favourite leisure spot of sorcerers — the Wizard course.

You will need all of your magical training to navigate this 9-hole course. Hone your herbology history as you navigate the gardens, putt your way past magical creatures and even play some Pinball Wizard. And should you get stuck, shouting ‘hocus pocus’ should do the trick (hopefully).
