Boutique Edinburgh restaurant, No 11, is flying high on success at the moment.

Historic city centre setting

Just seven minutes from Edinburgh Playhouse, the restaurant is set in an A Listed Georgian townhouse hotel – a very elegant environment for enjoying the best of local produce.

Part of a terrace of graceful residences, No 11 combines the grandeur of classic Edinburgh architecture with contemporary decor, including carefully chosen artworks.

The surroundings are matched by the delicious food produced by Head Chef Willie Lonnie, a man who has worked in several of Scotland’s most notable restaurants as well as further afield.

As far as this chef is concerned, ‘nature does the work to produce the flavour – a good chef merely enhances nature’s work by presenting the food well’.

The choice is yours

This Big Deal is very flexible as you have six options to choose from, available at various times.

Option one is for two people to have the two course à la carte lunch or early evening meal. Option two is the same and for four people.

Option three is for two people to have the three course seasonal menu. Option four is the same and for four people.

Option five is for two people to have the five course tasting menu. Option six is the same and for four people.

Menus change depending on the seasonal produce available but you can expect a variety of dishes.

Starters could include the duck pastrami with honey roast peach and toasted almonds, the smoked cheese, spinach & walnut croquettes, and the baked vegetarian haggis wellington.

Mains might feature the oven roast guinea fowl supreme, the pan-fried fillet of salmon with black olive & chilli polenta cake, and the warm confit of duck. Vegetarians can dine on dishes like the roast spiced cauliflower with ratatouille.

For dessert, expect delights such as the vanilla & yoghurt panna cotta, the warm chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream and the crème brûlée of the day.

There is a £10 per person supplement payable for Friday or Saturday evening bookings.
