Apparently, a set of swish gin tasting events are going to be taking place at One Canonmills in Edinburgh fairly soon. So we thought we’d give you a chance to bag a place with today’s fizzy and citrusy Handpicked Deal.

Jumping juniper joy
Taking place from January to March 2020, today’s Handpicked Deal is for one entry to a Holyrood Distillery Gin Class.
Classes will be held at One Canonmills on Saturday afternoons from 3pm to 5pm. Your spirited host will be Martin Duffy, creator of the Edinburgh Juniper Festival and all round gin king.
Sample a range of local gins
You will get to sample a delectable selection of gins and liqueurs created by Edinburgh’s Holyrood Distillery.
The selection will include the full range of Holyrood Gins and Gin Liqueurs. You can choose to enjoy each one in a cocktail or long mixed drink, accompanied by matching snacks.
You will be in a group of up to 20 gin fans and can buy multiple vouchers, so why not bring a group of friends along with you?
Stylish tasting space
One Canonmills is an independent local bar and eatery that has earned itself a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
A stroll away from the Water of Leith and King George V Park, it offers a stylishly low-key setting for a gin tasting.
One Canonmills also serves up lovingly crafted comfort food with a gourmet twist (including very munchable bao buns), so you may even want to stay on for dinner afterwards.

Includes sampling of gins and liqueurs produced at the Holyrood Distillery, followed by tasting each product in either a cocktail or a long mixed drink.
Snack food will provided throughout the session to complement the drinks.
