Okay fine, but apart from that, biting into a tasty patty slapped between sesame buns is pretty much the best thing on Earth, no? Maybe you prefer a nicely-cooked steak, with the perfect accompaniments?

• 56 North is an airy bar and restaurant in Old Town that is known for its quality gastropub food.

• Choose between the classic cheese burger (8oz ground steak burger with cheddar), the Kilted burger (steak burger with haggis, bacon, cheddar, onion rings and hickory BBQ sauce), the Peaky Blinder (steak burger with jalapeños, bacon and blue cheese), or the Plant burger (vegan burger – smashed avocado tomato chutney and served with pomegranate), all served with fries (or choose salad instead for the vegan option).

• Alternatively, you can choose the 28 day aged 10oz Scottish sirloin steak served with peppercorn sauce and skinny fries, or the sirloin steak sandwich, served as a rustic loaf with peppercorn sauce and skinny fries.
