The UK’s largest celebration of food and drink returns to Inverleith Park in the capital on the weekend of Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th August.

Foodies Festival is the social event of the summer and tens of thousands of visitors are expected to come and feast on a vast array of culinary activities.

Day passes

Today’s offer is available in four versions.

Option one is for one person to have a standard day pass and show guide for Friday 2nd August. Option two is for one person to have a standard day pass and show guide for either Saturday 3rd or Sunday 4th August 2019.

Option three is for two people to have a standard day pass for either date with show guide each.

Option four is for one person to have a VIP entry day pass for either date.

When accompanied by an adult, children under 12 years of age get free entry to Foodies Festival. This is one family day out that need not break the bank.

The festival is great fun for kids, with a Kids Cookery Theatre run by SuperChefs and a Kidzone with craft area, bouncy castles and face painting.

All the attractions

In the Chef’s Theatre, you can watch top chefs cook their favourite recipes. Pick up tips from Mark Greenaway, Graeme Cheevers at Martin Wishart Loch Lomond, Scott Davies from The Three Chimneys, Scott Smith from Norn, Dan Ashmore from The Pompadour, Roy Brett from Ondine and many more.

Now you have the recipes, pick up everything you need to recreate them at home in the Artisan Market. At the market, you can shop and sample from more award-winning producers than ever before. Be sure to leave room for a feast of international flavours and delicacies on the Street Food Avenue plus Champagne, beer and whisky master classes in the Drinks Theatre.

After a day of foodie fun, picnic on the grass with friends and family while enjoying live music on the new MAH music stage from The Hoosiers. Of course, there is always the option of a refreshing cocktail from the Tequila Shack, Tikki Rum Bar and Gin Station. Braver souls can enter the famous Chilli-Eating Competition.
