August in Edinburgh has all the arts and culture that you could ever consume.
This year, cocktail culture has been added to the mix as the first ever Edinburgh Cocktail Festival launches.
And this Big Deal is for a wristband which enables you to drink it all in.
Cocktail bars and master classes
The inaugural Edinburgh Cocktail Festival will be held at New Waverley Square, just off the Royal Mile, from Friday 4th to Monday 28th August.
Festival visitors can expect an array of cocktail bars, food-stalls, master classes, pop-up events, and live performances by emerging artists and DJs.
Events include a Ketel One Vodka Bloody Mary Kitchen and Tanqueray Gin Forest, alongside a host of other innovative experiential experiences for consumers to enjoy throughout the month of August.
Globally renowned brands will showcase their products, while local bars show off the city’s skills through master classes and takeovers.
All master classes and talks must be pre-booked ahead of attendance – having a wristband does not guarantee your entry. Details will be listed on your order email.
Discounted cocktails are available for those with the wristband.
Mixing up a party in August
The event is organised and curated by Scottish creative agency The Drink Cabinet, in collaboration with Food + Flea Market.
