The UK’s largest celebration of food and drink returns to Inverleith Park in the capital on the weekend of Friday 4th, Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th August.

Foodies Festival is the social event of the summer and tens of thousands of visitors are expected to come and feast on a vast array of culinary activities.

Day passes

Today’s offer is available in four versions.

Option one is for one person to have a day pass for Foodies on Friday 4th August 2017.

Option two is for one person to have a day pass for Foodies which can be used on either Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th August 2017.

Options one and two include a show guide for each person.

Option three is for one person to have a VIP entry day pass for Friday 4th August 2017.

Option four is for one person to have a VIP entry day pass for either Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th August 2017.

In the Chef’s Theatre, you can watch top chefs cook their favourite recipes. Pick up tips from Adam Handling (star of this year’s Great British Menu); Brian Grigor from Michelin-starred Number One at The Balmoral; Jacqueline O’Donnell of The Sisters; James Chapman from Tom Kitchen’s Scran & Scallie; Stuart Muir of DINE and Harajuku Kitchen’s Kaori Simpson.

Now you have the recipes, pick up everything you need to recreate them at home in the Artisan Market. At the market, you can shop and sample from more award-winning producers than even before. Be sure to leave room for a feast of international flavours and delicacies on the Street Food Avenue plus Champagne, beer and whisky master classes in the Drinks Theatre.

Those with a sweet tooth will love the Cake & Bake Theatre. Taste your way through baking and chocolate master classes with Burlesque Baker Charlotte White and master chocolatier Fiona Sciolti. If al fresco dining is more your thing, then the BBQ Arena is the place to be – you’ll be amazed by the recipes and top tips from the grill professionals! 

After a day of foodie fun, picnic on the grass with friends and family while enjoying live music from the Unsigned Music Awards. Of course, there is always the option of a refreshing cocktail from the Giant Pimm’s Teapot or Mojito Galleon. Braver souls can enter the famous Chilli-Eating Competition.
