Six course tasting menu

This deal at Edinburgh’s STEAK Restaurant is for two people to dine on the six course tasting menu with a glass of Malbec each.

The six course tasting menu is as follows:

Course One

Wholemeal bruschetta, julienne of crispy beef fillet

Course Two

Charred cauliflower veloute, tarragon infused olive oil

Course Three

Mini beef rump and marrow burger, STEAK ketchup and crispy spiral potato

Sirloin wellington, roasted onion and beef jus

–or–

Classic STEAK tartare, quail egg yolk and smoked maldon sea salt

Course Four

Scallop tortellini, smoked marrow, pommes souffle and red wine sauce

Course Five

Chargrilled Donald Russell rump steak, all steaks are brushed with house glaze and served with hand cut chips, grilled vine tomatoes and julienne crispy onions. Upgrades available: sirloin £5, ribeye £5, fillet £7

Pan fried chicken breast, walnut & beef jus emulsion, roasted cauliflower fondants and crispy kale

Course Six

Crispy puffed rice, chocolate sorbet and hazelnut mousse

Steak Restaurant

STEAK Restaurant is an informal and welcoming steak restaurant on Picardy Place. A lively bar leads on to a seductive, dimly-lit dining room with stripped walls and gleaming glasses and cutlery.

The restaurant is on Picardy Place, a two minute walk for the Omni Centre and Edinburgh Playhouse. The tramline is practically outside the restaurant and Waverley is a ten minute stroll. There is very limited on-street parking and pay parking at Omni.
