This deal at Edinburgh’s STEAK Restaurant is for two people to dine on the six course tasting menu with a glass of Prosecco and Malbec each.

The six course tasting menu is as follows:

Smoked beef carpaccio, Bloody Mary shot

Roasted celeriac veloute, Applewood cheddar croutons

Dijon marinated beef rump, crispy purple potato & pickled Enoki mushrooms

- Upgrade options: sirloin Wellington, chargrilled tomatoes and onion jus (£5 supplement); harissa spiced pathivier , black garlic, shitake mushrooms & French beans (£5 supplement); fillet steak tartare, classic garnish, quail’s egg & smoked Maldon sea salt (£5 supplement)

Tandoori spice coated North Sea cod loin, minted peas, cauliflower leaf, potato dauphinoise, tartare sauce & pea shoots

Donald Russell dry aged rump steak, roasted onions & hand cut potato chips

- Upgrade options: Donald Russell sirloin (£4 supplement); Donald Russell rib-eye (£5 supplement); Donald Russell fillet (£7 supplement)

Steak Restaurant

STEAK Restaurant is an informal and welcoming steak restaurant on Picardy Place. A lively bar leads on to a seductive, dimly-lit dining room with stripped walls and gleaming glasses and cutlery.

The restaurant is on Picardy Place, a two minute walk for the Omni Centre and Edinburgh Playhouse. The tramline is practically outside the restaurant and Waverley is a ten minute stroll. There is very limited on-street parking and pay parking at Omni.
