Available Tuesday to Saturday, for lunch or dinner, this offer is for a private dining experience for one person, with a minimum of six guests required per booking. The maximum table size is fourteen guests.

The package includes exclusive hire of the Walter Scott or Louis Stevenson room, a three course menu and glass of sparkling wine for each guest.

The menu changes daily but a typical three courses might be the pan-seared king scallops with burnt apple purée and a fennel and pear salad followed by pork loin accompanied by pork crackling dust, celeriac and black pudding pave, cider chicory and thyme jus.

To finish, dessert could be a blood orange Arctic roll with hazelnut nut soil, orange curd and chocolate milk or the kitchen’s creative take on cranachan: steamed honey and oat sponge with raspberry soup and whisky cream.
