‘All you need is brunch’ sang The Beatles in 1967, sending a warm, fuzzy glow around the world.
And while The Beatles are long gone now, at least brunch is still here, spreading joy to us all.
Throw in a cheeky bit of booze and you are officially in heaven. Like this Big Deal on a Bloody Mary Brunch for two at Brewhemia in Old Town.
Brunch is all you need…
Brewhemia is an impressive Czech beer palace and Prosecco bar spread over several spaces.
This Big Deal is for two people to enjoy a brunch dish of their choice alongside a Bloody Mary (or Virgin Mary), plus a glass of orange juice and French press coffee or pot of tea.
The offer is available seven days from 10am to 2pm until 31st August. If you head down on a Saturday or Sunday, you might even get to hear some live killer blues licks alongside your brunch.
Excuse us while we swoon over Brewhemia’s brunch menu…
Signature dishes include The Dirty Stack, a tower of Canadian-style pancakes with peanut butter, Nutella and seasonal fresh berries. Or how about the Bean Pot Dipper – Brewhemia’s own baked beans in a cast iron pot, topped with a duck egg and served with sourdough soldiers for dunking thrills?
Or you could opt for a full Scottish breakfast, a veggie breakfast, or an eggs benny with a Stornoway black pudding twist, among other choices.
Brewhemia really is a spectacular space. Yet despite its size, it also has its fair share of nooks and crannies for cosying up in for brunch.
With regular live entertainment, a novelty photo booth, tank beer, cocktails and fizz, plus a selection of spaces that run from a sleek Boudoir to Highland Bothy to Beer Palace, Brewhemia has something for everyone.
Based on Market Street right next to Waverley train station, it is also about as central as you can get.
Brewhemia has bagged such consistently good customer reviews that it has earned itself a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. This reviewer loved their experience:
‘Faultlessly BRILLIANT. Wow! What a find! I was recently introduced to this place – just a few seconds across the street from Waverley Station. Don’t be put off by the size of this venue – it still has pockets of intimacy, and lots of different hidden places to eat and drink. It has a fantastic atmosphere and the food is simply out of this world. The new menu is sensational, and stunningly presented. Of course what makes it is the staff. Absolute professionals, delivering a first class service with a chilled out vibe. On my last visit we were looked after by Ryan. A super nice guy and a really brilliant host. Would thoroughly recommend indulging in one of their awesome cocktails before or after your meal. We will be back again… and again… and again… and again! You get the picture!’
