Inspired by French home-style cooking with robust earthy dishes, and slow-cooked foods, Bistro du Vin’s Gallic-influenced menu has an undeniably British flavour.

The exact dishes on the menu will change depending on the produce available. Typical starters might be the ham hough terrine with a celeriac reduction or a watermelon and feta salad.

Popular main courses include the coq au vin; grilled vegetable spaghetti and the poached salmon with a beetroot and new potato salad.

Desserts like the profiteroles and chocolate sauce or the banana bread and butter pudding with vanilla ice cream will bring your meal to a sweet finish.

Sides, such as the pommes frites, wilted spinach and honey-roasted carrots, will be charged at £3.50.
