Based in Radisson Royal Mile Hotel, Cucina serves up a modern twist on classic dishes.
Today’s Big Deal is for a two-course meal for two. You will be dining on the set menu with a glass of Prosecco each included. This offer is available seven days a week until the end of April, from 5pm to 9.30pm.
Cucina is very striking inside, with contemporary art, colourful columns and gorgeous flowery cushions (so if you’ve got a special occasion coming up, this would be ideal).
‘Never mind the cushions, what about the nosh?!’ we hear you cry. We’re glad you asked…
Individual dishes can change seasonally, but here is a sneak peak of what you can expect:
Soup of the day
Haggis Scotch egg, celeriac slaw, chilli jam

Pork fillet, pork belly, mini Stornoway black pudding, apple, red endive
Scottish salmon, smoked sea salt, burnt cucumber, cauliflower, shellfish bisque (GF)
Barley & wild mushroom risotto, crispy shallot, poached egg (VG) (V)
Avocado, grapefruit, avocado sorbet, coconut cream (V) (DF) (GF)
Lemon mousse sponge, meringue, lemon & lime, basil

‘On our short break to Edinburgh we wanted to have one special meal out together…We booked our table with a lovely lady on reception who was very helpful. We asked if there was a dress code as we didn’t have our tuxedo and ball gown with us! There wasn’t. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who looked after us all throughout our meal. I’m a vegetarian and the menu was very accommodating. My partner had the steak and he stated it was the best steak he’d ever had. We were too full to have a dessert. Fabulous meal, fabulous service from both waitress and receptionist.’
