‘People who love to eat are always the best people’ said legendary chef, Julia Child.
Never was a truer word said.
So why not prove that you’re one of the best by savouring the contemporary comfort food at stylish Metro Brasserie in Old Town?
Two course meal for two
Based in the Apex International Hotel on Grassmarket, Metro Brasserie is a chic yet casual dining spot offering an eclectic range of dishes from around the world.
This Big Deal is for a two course meal for two from the set menu plus a bottle of house wine to share. You can choose between a starter and main or starter and dessert.
The offer is available for evening dining seven days a week until 30th April 2019.
Menus at Metro Brasserie can change seasonally, but sample starters include the poached smoked haddock with potato salad & deep-fried egg; the haggis, neeps & tatties tower with whisky jus and the spiced spinach & coriander arancini.
Mains might feature ‘home comforts’ such as the Scotch beef burger on a toasted bun; the slow-cooked feather blade of beef in red wine jus and the beetroot risotto with goats’ cheese crumble.
For a supplement, you can tuck into a chargrill 8oz flat iron or sirloin steak with sides and a choice of sauces. All Scotch beef is dry-aged for a minimum of 28 days, ensuring a deep, intense flavour and tenderness.
For dessert, expect treats such as chocolate pot bake, sticky toffee pudding and opera cake.
