Stylish decor, local food
Based inside the four star George Hotel, EH2 Tempus is a luxurious space made up of high ceilings, booth seating, chandeliers and dramatic flower displays.
But EH2 Tempus isn’t just style without substance. The restaurant has a firm focus on fine dining using locally sourced seasonal ingredients.
All their beef comes from Orkney, their oysters and mussels from Loch Fyne and their sausages and burgers are supplied by renowned local butcher, Crombies.
Scotland’s finest produce
Today’s Big Deal allow you to sample Scotland’s finest produce by choosing a main course from EH2 Tempus’s market menu served with a glass of Prosecco.
You can choose from young yellow hen served with wilted greens, polenta au gratin and hand cut chips or a sautéed fillet of coley with vegetables a la Grecque (in the Greek style).
Vegetarians are not forgotten with the option of potato gnocchi served with parsley and simmered morel mushrooms.
You can also opt for for an eight ounce 28 day dry aged rib eye steak served with hand cut chips for a £7 supplement.
