Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Edinburgh

Rumour has it that Michael Fassbender may play Marco Pierre White in a proposed biopic of the fiery chef.

It’s a meaty role but we would rather get our teeth into today’s Big Deal on a three course meal at Marco’s new Edinburgh restaurant.

The new Marco Pierre White Steakhouse is part of a multi-million refurbishment of Hilton Edinburgh Carlton Hotel. 

The restaurant on the North Bridge is a sleek, contemporary dining room with a moody black and white picture of The Guv’nor beside his trademark black and white throne.

Seven days a week

Available from 5.30pm to 8pm, seven days a week, the offer is for one person to have three courses from the pre-theatre menu.

As well as a glass of Prosecco, the offer includes tea or coffee.

Individual dishes may change depending on what is in season but your menu will look a lot like this:

Beetroot and goat’s cheese salad (v)

The French burger with melted cheese, crispy onion rings and French mustard

The governor’s fried haddock and triple cooked chips

Classic macaroni cheese with poached egg (v)

Mr Lamb’s shepherds pie

Desserts

Dark chocolate mousse (v)

Selection of ice creams and sorbets

Cambridge burnt cream (v)

Keens cheddar with sherry soaked fruit cake (v)

A selection of sides including creamed cabbage and pancetta or the green salad with truffle dressing are available for £3.50 each.
