As well as tea or coffee, the menu will include savouries such as smoked salmon and crème fraiche on a potato scone; honey roast ham and brie in a croissant; a free range egg and baby cress vol-au-vent (v) and minted cucumber and crowdie on rye crisp bread (v).
The sweet treats will feature scones with Chantilly cream and jam; a chocolate truffle; lemon drizzle cake; profiteroles and a seasonal fruit filo tartlet.
Option two is for two people to follow in the footsteps of Alice in Wonderland and sample the Mad Hatter’s afternoon tea.
As well as a cocktail for each guest, Mad Hatter’s afternoon tea includes… well, we’re not going to spoil the surprise.
