The menus change regularly. A typical meal at Chez Roux might start with the Albert Roux twice baked cheese soufflé before moving on to a main course of Scotch beef rib-eye with bone marrow gratin, creamed spinach and red wine sauce.
To finish, dessert might be a dish like the Valrohna dark chocolate marquise with pistachio cream and mint chocolate chip ice cream

‘The hotel is a lovely old building with history oozing out of every window and garden gate. Walking out the back door onto the tenth green of Muirfield was a dream come true. I met Albert Roux, one of my culinary heroes to top off the day!”
‘The weather was excellent and we had some time to see the Firth of Fourth, Gullane Beach and some of the other golf courses. Excellent stay and the staff are unbeatable for pleasant service. I will go back again in two weeks!’
