TriBeCa New Town

After making a name in Glasgow with their funky New York style bar and grill serving up all-American classics, the TriBeCa people opened the show in the capital.

Take a mosey down Seventh Avenue… er Broughton Street and sample some of today’s Big Deal action.

Taking inspiration from classic NYC burger joints, TriBeCa combines a love of Stateside cuisine with a commitment to friendly service that you probably wouldn’t encounter in New York.

Grill specials

The Big Deal is for 2 people to have any burger or hot dog with fries or one of the following main courses: mac ‘n’ cheese, Southwestern quesadilla or the Harlem chicken and waffle.

It is available from noon to 10pm, Monday to Thursday, and from noon to 4pm and then 5pm to 10pm on Fridays.

On Saturdays and Sundays, it is available 5pm to 10pm.

There is a supplement of £5 per deal, payable direct to the restaurant, for Friday evening and all Saturday reservations.

NYC-style burgers

Using the finest quality Scottish beef and locally-sourced ingredients, the TriBeCa menu offers creative and delicious NYC-style burgers.

The burgers and dogs are served with fries. Choose from the following:

The All American – topped with American cheese, sautéed onions, dill pickle and TriBeCa burger sauce

Harlem – steak patty topped with chorizo, Manchego cheese, prosciutto ham, red pepper aioli and served with chimichurri

The Clansman – pan-fried breast of chicken, home-cured forest mushrooms, haggis fritter and whisky cream

Sunset Park – chilli-infused lamb burger, cream cheese, jalapeño and roast pepper salad and chipotle sauce

The Broadway – TriBeCa Falafel burger with hummus, pickle and tzatziki

Chilli Dog – griddled hot dog with sliced jalapenos and chilli beef topped with Manchego cheese

Dirty Dog – griddled hot dog topped with BBQ pulled pork, spring onion, Emmental cheese and candied bacon

TriBeCa Dog – griddled hot dog with sautéed onion, American mustard and a side of ketchup

The following main courses are also available:

Southwestern quesadilla – filled with mature cheddar, roasted corn and red onion, served with black beans and Cajun rice.

Harlem chicken and waffle – buttermilk fried chicken on a savoury waffle with vanilla butter and chilli maple syrup

Mac ‘n’ cheese – macaroni finished in a rich cheese sauce, topped with Parmesan and served with garlic bread.

There is a £2 supplement on the Clansman burger.
