Looking for the perfect gift for that super chilled out dude you know? (And yes, for the record, women can be dudes as well).
We’re guessing that they’d be thrilled by two for one burgers at Lebowskis in Edinburgh.
After all, this is a bar made especially for dudes, by dudes and in celebration of dudes.
So why not treat your favourite slacker to a slap-up meal? (Dressing gowns and bowling shoes optional dining attire).
An El Duderino deal
You don’t need to be a fan of The Big Lebowski to appreciate this Morrison Street cocktail & burger joint. There is plenty to savour about the bar beyond movie references.
This includes a hearty burger range, great selection of music (including DJs and live acoustic sets) and overall laidback vibe.
Two for one burgers
With this Big Deal, two people can enjoy a burger with skinny fries or tats.
They can choose between The Lebowski (exclusive aged mince rump steak burger), the MacBowski (chargrilled chicken fillet marinated in lime, rosemary & thyme), the Shroom Stack (Portobello mushroom bun, grilled tofu and salsa verde), the Pulled Pork BBQ (shredded stack of slow-cooked pork shoulder, with BBQ bourbon sauce), or the Mexican Bean Nacho (black bean burger in nacho crust, salsa, guacamole and sour cream).
A couple of options are available at a supplement, and customers should note the The Big Lebowski and Big MacBowski are not included.
This offer is available seven days a week from noon to 9pm, until the 31st August.
You can buy multiples as well, should you fancy treating a few folk to it.
Centrally based bar
Although drinks or cocktails aren’t included in this offer, they certainly add to the bar’s attractions. And you probably won’t be surprised to hear that Lebowskis offers a tempting White Russian selection, offering the perfect excuse to linger for longer.
The location is great as well. Lebowskis is just off Lothian Road, close to the Traverse, King’s and Royal Lyceum theatres, as well as several cinemas, making it a great option for a bite to eat before a show or film.
Haymarket station is also only a 15-minute walk away and there is pay parking nearby at Scottish Widows on Semple Street.
Previous 5pm diners have been impressed by the food at Lebowskis:
‘Good pub grub. Really enjoyed my meal yesterday and the staff were very helpful.’ 4/5
‘What a gem! Excellent value for money! Lovely chicken dish and a beautiful pulled lamb dish, superb side orders, an all round first class meal offer.’ 4.75/5
‘Scrumptious. This was our first visit and we were really impressed with the food and the portions.’ 5/5
If you are stuck for gift ideas for a pal or work colleague, then a couple of burgers at Lebowskis would make a solid bet.
Or you could snap up a couple for yourself and save this as a treat for the coming summer months.
