Jeremy Wares at Houstoun House has lots of recommendations on TripAdvisor. These were all taken from longer, recent reviews:
‘Really enjoyable evening. I dined at Jeremy Wares at Houstoun House over the Easter weekend. I enjoyed the ham hock followed by rib-eye steak, the steak was cooked perfectly and the mushroom / haggis were a great addition to the dish. I`d definitely recommend this and will return again.’
‘Our three course meal was excellent, clean plates all round and the service was very good too.’
‘Restaurant dining is a delightful experience due to attentive, professional staff. Chef Jeremy introduced himself to us and the other diners, he was keen to find out if the food was to our satisfaction, it certainly was. Jeremy is obviously a perfectionist… Thoroughly recommended.’
