If hotels could do a catwalk strut to show off a snazzy new look, then The Bonham in Edinburgh would definitely be donning its six-inch stilettos right now.
This boutique getaway in Edinburgh’s West End has recently enjoyed a total makeover to the tune of several million pounds.
So why not experience it at its brand spanking best with today’s Big Deal on a one or two night stay in a Superior room?
Modern luxuries, period charms
Set in a leafy crescent a stroll away from the Castle, The Bonham Hotel was originally a row of three Victorian townhouses.
The fact that it’s a previous winner of the Late Rooms ‘Best Boutique Hotel’ award means that you’re in for a super comfy stay – even more so after the recent refurbishment.
Luxury interior designer, Nigel Howard, has blended traditional period elements with the best modern fabrics and finishes for a truly elegant new look.
There is also a wood-panelled restaurant, cosmopolitan bar area and beautiful gardens.
Stay in a swish Superior room
Each off the high-ceilinged guest rooms is individually decorated with big floor-to-ceiling windows offering amazing views.
Superior rooms have king sized beds with luxurious headboards, Hypnos mattresses and top quality linens for a great sleep.
There is also a TV, mini fridge, safe and free high-speed Wi-Fi. The bathroom has a dreamy rainfall shower and White Company Noir toiletries.
The choice is yours…
Available seven days until the 31st March, this Big Deal has three options.
Option one is for an overnight stay for two in a Superior room with breakfast. Option two adds on a dinner spend of £25 per person.
Option three is for a two night stay with breakfast each morning and a £25 per person dinner spend on the first night.
The chefs at The Bonham source sustainable, seasonal and local ingredients to create classic European dishes with a Scottish twist.
Sample mains include harissa chicken breast with chorizo mash and petit pois à la Francaise, or slow-cooked lamb shoulder with grilled artichoke, smoked aubergine purée and potato espuma.
Veggies can tuck into dishes like Camembert cheese with roasted grelot onions, ratte potatoes and tenderstem broccoli.
It will probably come as no surprise to you to hear that The Bonham Hotel has a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence. Here is one review:
‘Beautiful hotel in excellent location. Fantastic room and attentive, friendly, professional staff. Nothing was too much trouble, would definitely recommend. Will make this our first choice for Edinburgh breaks.’
Just imagine your loved one’s face when they see that you’ve treated them to a boutique hotel getaway in the capital as a present.
And if you want to go the extra Royal Mile (you see what we did there?), then you could always add on that extra night.
