In fact, The Old Club Cup, which has been awarded at Royal Musselburgh Golf Club since 1774, is the oldest trophy still competitively played for in the world.

Available until the end of April, the offer is for two or four people to play on the Prestonpans course.
Picturesque Parkland course
- Designed by the famous Open champion and golf architect, James Braid, Royal Musselburgh Golf Club is a picturesque parkland course kept in tip-top shape.
- It is a par 70 course and 6254 yards long. It is a challenging course for all levels of player. The final five holes are particularly tricky.
- As part of the informal club atmosphere, smart casual dress may be worn at all times. Jeans and trainers are allowed within the clubhouse area however are not allowed on the course.

Important Information
The Big Deal option 1 is for 2 people to play 18 holes.
Option 2 is for 4 people to play 18 holes.
Both options include a basket of 50 driving range balls for each person.
Approx. duration of time using purchase is 4 hours.
Advance booking required.
Purchases are non-refundable once booked, but an alternative date may be given.
Valid days & times may change due to restrictions based on COVID guidelines.
Multiple purchases permitted. Max group size 4 people.
Suitable for all ages – under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Smart/casual attire is required at all times – tops must have collars. Golf shoes are required, soft spikes are recommended.
Jeans or trainers are permitted within the clubhouse, but not on the course.
Please note golf clubs are not provided – must be brought along.
Sorry, no wheelchair access.
Printed or electronic copy of order emails must be presented on arrival.
