‘A lovely welcome by lovely staff who were very helpful too… Our room was perfect in every way. Very modern but at the same time quaint (just how we like it). Stylish decor with stylish soft furnishings and great facilities within the room. The room was warm… The bed linen was fresh crisp and clean. I have never seen a shower so clean in all my life – in fact there wasn’t a spot of dirt/dust anywhere, we were extremely impressed by this… The food was ‘out of this world’ heavenly, to die for, cannot express it enough. Definitely of Michelin quality… The little village was delightful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. We would definitely recommend it. The proprietor Michael has definitely done his homework; he knows exactly what people want from a hotel stay.’
‘We had the most wonderful, relaxing weekend at the Wheatsheaf Hotel. Michael and his staff are friendly, helpful, accommodating and genuinely want you to have the best time there possible. We had a classic double room and there was plenty of space for my husband and I. The room had a smart TV and the bathroom had full bath sheet towels, which we really appreciated. The food was outstanding and plentiful! We had dinner at the hotel both nights we were there and there was so much food, we could only eat two courses each night though we always wanted to eat more. The food and bar prices are very reasonable as well. Overall, the hotel is a great value and we are planning to be back sometime in the autumn.’
This Big Deal would be perfect for anyone who would like to enjoy the winter or early spring in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
