Barony Castle Hotel was originally a 16th century tower house built by the Murrays of Blackbarony.

Desserts often include toffee apple crumble tart or gingerbread cheesecake. Guests can add a third course on for £4.95 each.

After dinner you can relax with a drink in the Murray Lounge, which has three 58” flat screen TVs, plus use of a PlayStation 4 and Xbox.

For lunches, snacks and casual meals, you can head to the hotel’s cosy Blue Dug Bar.
