A man who was seldom shy of a drink, the comedian W.C. Fields said, ‘Once, during Prohibition, I was forced to live for days on nothing but food and water’.
We feel your pain, Mr Fields.
Offering delicious cocktails and tasty tapas, today’s Big Deal at the Lochside House Hotel near New Cumnock would have made Mr Fields’ eyes sparkle.
Crowned as Scotland’s Best Independent Hotel at the 2014 Scottish Entertainment Awards, the Lochside House Hotel has built a reputation for great service, fine food and splendid cocktails.
Conveniently, the hotel is less than an hour’s drive from Glasgow.
