Converted from an earlier Edwardian Mansion, The Parkstone Hotel opened its doors in 1933 and has been a family-owned and operated hotel ever since.

Sea views

Available seven days a week, the offer is for two people to enjoy an overnight stay in a double or twin room with a full Scottish breakfast. A bottle of Prosecco on arrival will get your stay off to a bubbly start.

The Big Deal includes a three course dinner from the evening menu in the hotel’s award-winning Restaurant 33.

The hotel’s 30 ensuite bedrooms all feature a flat screen TV, hairdryer, Scottish Fine Soaps toiletries, a hospitality tray and luxury 1200 pocket sprung mattresses.

The majority of the rooms overlook the sea with the remainder facing the gardens. Sea view rooms are a £10 supplement and there is a £10 per room per night supplement for Friday and Saturday night stays.

Ground floor rooms are also available with disabled access.

Free WiFi is available throughout the hotel and internet facilities are available if you need to print last minute boarding passes.

Local produce

Enjoying panoramic ocean views, the hotel’s Restaurant 33 is committed to the values of uncomplicated, unpretentious cooking.

The chefs like to use the very best local produce, all cooked to order.

The offer includes three courses for each diner from the evening menu.

The menus change regularly but typical main courses might be the pan-fried breast of chicken with Arran haggis, whisky pepper sauce, parsley mash and sautéed vegetables or the smoked haddock gratin with Ayrshire bacon, leeks, creamed potato, poached egg and cheddar.

The hotel’s bar lounge has great views of the coast and leads on to the hotel’s Beer Garden on the Beach.

See and do

With sixteen wonderful golf courses within ten minutes of the hotel, it is difficult to think of a better location for a golfing break.

At one end of the esplanade lies Prestwick Old Course, the birth place of Open Golf and at the other end is Prestwick St Nicholas.

All of Burns Country is within a gentle drive and a visit to Culzean Castle and its surrounding park is always a great day out.

Of course, Ayr racecourse has a full programme of winter fixtures.
