A yurt with a view
Your eco-friendly glamping yurt will be nestled beside a burn on a scenic hillside offering incredible views over the Firth of Clyde and Isle of Arran.
Each yurt has a wood burning stove with logs felled on the estate, ideal for cosy evenings. A picnic table for al fresco dining and a fire pit are also included, as are a drinking water tap, bed linen, table and chairs.
A compostable loo can be found beside the site and there is a toilet block with hot showers a short walk away. There is no electricity on site, so each yurt will have a small solar panel powering two internal lights.
Please note that the site is located up a moderately steep path, although staff can help you to carry your belongings up it.
As well as being perfectly placed to explore the Ayrshire coast, Burns country and nearby Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park, Kelburn Estate itself has lots to offer.
Follow the enchanted wooded walkways of The Secret Forest to find a maze, fairy gardens, pagoda and much more. Kelburn is also famous for its many unusual trees, including the Weeping Larch and 1000 Year Old Yews.
At the bottom of the glen is a waterfall with a spectacular grotto, while the 18th century walled garden is ideal for picnicking or relaxing with a book. The saltire-shaped Children’s Garden is also a sight to behold.
An Adventure Park, Wild West Saloon and Indoor Playbarn should also keep the kids entertained.
