Any New Year resolutions in the pipeline?
We are very confident of sticking to ours.
Especially the one about spending more time in lovely hotels.
Valid from early January to the 30th of March, today’s Big Deal on a two night break at the four star Piersland House Hotel in Troon is the ideal way to take the sting out of winter.
Set in its own gardens, right in the heart of Burns country, this elegant, Victorian hotel overlooks the Royal Troon Golf Course and is a short walk from the sweeping beach at Troon.
Designed in a charming country house hotel style, the building was originally the family home of the Johnnie Walker whisky family and many fine examples of the distiller’s art can be sampled in the hotel’s bars.
Two night stay
Available seven days per week, this deal is for two people to enjoy two consecutive nights in a double or twin room with a full Scottish breakfast on both days.
This relaxing break starts with a chilled bottle of Prosecco in your room on arrival. A three course table d’hôte menu each evening is also included in the offer.
There is a supplement of £10 for Saturday night stays.
Many of the rooms at the Piersland were refurbished at the start of 2017. While featuring a warm, contemporary decor in the rooms, the hotel has retained its considerable period charms.
All of the individually appointed bedrooms are en suite and feature a queen bed, flat screen televisions, satellite channels, free WiFi and hot drinks trays.
Some rooms have views of the golf course or the hotel’s landscaped gardens.
Room upgrades are available, and a 50% discount on upgrades may be available on selected dates.
The kitchen brigade uses local produce as much as they can. The menus change regularly but popular main courses include the char grilled pork loin steak with Stornoway black pudding and red wine jus or the deep-fried, West Coast fish and chips.
Steak dishes are not included in this offer.
See & do around Troon
With both Royal Troon and the Ailsa course within easy reach of Piersland House Hotel, this offer would be fantastic for golfers.
It is also ideally placed for visiting the birthplace of Robert Burns; a day at Ayr Races or simply taking a walk along Troon beach.
Alternatively, settle in beside a fireplace in the hotel and relax with a good book. Perhaps with a glass of Johnnie Walker’s finest by your side.
Piersland House Hotel has charmed many a visitor and inspired lots of glowing TripAdvisor reviews. We have edited for length:
‘The Piersland has just finished being updated. The rooms have new furniture and the style is contemporary with a touch of modern but still has the historical old touch and accents… Food delicious as ever. Presentation out of this world. Service – no updating needed as attentive as ever. Just when you think it couldn’t get any better, they put it out of the ball park again.’
‘Very enjoyable stay… Our room was lovely – immaculately prepared and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. It was freshly cooked to order. The staff were very polite and keen to please. We would love to go back for a longer stay!’
Christmas gift idea
Within easy reach of Glasgow and only a couple of hours from most of the Central Belt, this offer is very convenient for a relaxing winter break.
It would also make a fabulous Christmas gift.
Book the deal and get your 2018 off to a stylish start. A relaxing two night stay with Prosecco and dinner will make the colder months seem rather more cosy.
