Say ‘Si!’ to today’s Big Deal from Si! Café:Bar:Restaurant in Irvine and take the path marked ‘Fine food in a fashionable setting’.

Si! is set over two floors of a rather striking building on Irvine’s Kilwinning Road.

Ideal for casual dining with friends and family, it offers several stylishly decorated spaces.

As well as a beer garden, there is a variety of booths and table settings – perfect for everything from a quiet drink with friends to a big family celebration.

Two courses

This Big Deal is available from noon to 9pm, Sunday to Friday, and is for two people to each have a starter and main course from the following menu:

Starters

Caprese salad – fresh tomato and mozzarella slices with torn basil and a balsamic dressing (V)

Soup of the day served with tomato bread

Bloody Mary prawn cocktail with a lightly spiced tomato dressing and buttered brown bread

Spinach, sun-blushed tomato and mozzarella arancini – crisp fried rice balls served with arrabiata sauce (V)

Mains

Si! house burger – 8oz Scotch beef burger served in a soft brioche bun with Swiss cheese, bacon rashers, lettuce, tomato salsa, crispy onion rings, dill pickle and French fries

Rigatoni arrabiata with fresh chillies, served with garlic bread (V) (add chicken £2.75, chorizo £2.75, prawns £2.95)

Beer-battered haddock with mushy peas, hand-cut chips, homemade tartare sauce and lemon wedge

Half metre vegetarian pizza with mozzarella, peppers, onions, mushrooms and oregano (V)

8oz prime sirloin of Scotch beef served with a flatcap mushroom, caramelised onions, beer-battered onion rings and French fries (£8 supplement)

A glass of Prosecco each is also included.
