Stylish rooms

Many of the rooms at the Piersland were refurbished at the start of 2017. While featuring a warm, contemporary decor in the rooms, the hotel has retained its considerable period charms.

All of the individually appointed bedrooms are en suite and feature a queen bed, flat screen televisions, satellite channels, free WiFi and hot drinks trays.

Some rooms have views of the golf course or the hotel’s landscaped gardens.

The Mews are set in the courtyard surrounding the main house. Superior rooms are in the main house and offer plenty of comfort. They are stylishly and luxuriously decorated, with a complimentary bottle of water and fruit on arrival. Facilities include king or twin beds, Sky TV with sports channels, tea tray, direct dial phone, free WiFi, hairdryer, iron with ironing board and laptop safe. Some also include roll top baths.

Local produce

The kitchen brigade uses local produce as much as they can. The menus change regularly but popular main courses include the chargrilled pork loin steak with Stornoway black pudding and red wine jus or the chicken breast with haggis and whisky ‘café au lait’ sauce.

Steak dishes are not included in this offer.

With both Royal Troon and the Ailsa course within easy reach of Piersland House, this offer would be fantastic for golfers.

It is also ideally placed for visiting the birthplace of Robert Burns; a day at Ayr Races or simply taking a walk along Troon beach.
