In other words, what have you got planned between January and March?

If you need some inspiration, how about an uber-romantic overnight stay at the 4-star Lodge on Loch Lomond hotel at Luss?

A full Scottish breakfast, three course dinner, full use of the leisure facilities and gorgeous views are all included, making this a perfect treat to mark on your calendar.

Panoramic views

Just 30 minutes from Glasgow, The Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel sits in the heart of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park.

Many of the rooms and the hotel’s Colquhoun’s Restaurant offer undisturbed panoramic views of Scotland’s most breath-taking loch and its majestic, mountainous surroundings.

Three course dinner

Available seven days a week from 10th January until the end of March, this offer is for two people to enjoy an overnight stay in a Classic Graham or Executive Munro room.

Guests will enjoy a full Scottish breakfast in the morning and a sumptuous three course dinner in the award-winning and recently refurbished Colquhoun’s Restaurant. Some dishes will incur a supplement.

Full use of the leisure complex is also included in the offer.

Gorgeous rooms

The rooms are designed in a contemporary lodge style with views over the loch, the beach or towards the picturesque village of Luss.

As well as a bath, shower and WC, all rooms have double beds, a two seater sofa, colour television, in-room iron and board, hair-dryer, tea and coffee and direct dial telephones.

Room allocation depends on availability. Guests can upgrade to a Deluxe Corbett room for a supplement of £30.

The Deluxe Corbetts have beautiful glass front balconies with amazing views over the loch and your very own sauna.

Friday and Saturday night stays will be charged a supplement of £40 a night.

Modern cuisine

Featuring panoramic views of the loch and Ben Lomond, Colquhoun’s Restaurant has a brilliant reputation for delicious modern cuisine created using the freshest of local produce.

It is an approach that has won the restaurant two AA Rosettes.

Menus change regularly but typical mains might include the Lodge special of hay & juniper roe deer fillet with salt roasted celeriac, caper chimichurri, cashew nut butter, beets & tarragon scented tea, the battered North Sea white fish with tartar sauce, pickled onions and chunky chips and the chargrilled grass-fed sirloin steak with chunky chips, roast tomato and red onion salad.

Leisure and pampering

Guests can enjoy all that the leisure centre has to offer at the Lodge on Loch Lomond. In addition to a sixteen metre pool, there is also a Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and laconium.

The hotel also offers in-room spa and holistic treatments from Heart & Soul Beauty. These include Eve Taylor facials, massages, body scrubs, manicures and pedicures. These can be booked directly with the mobile therapist.

See & do Loch Lomond

Guests here are spoiled for choice. From golf, horse riding, 4×4 driving, shooting and quad bikes to jet skiing, cruising and fishing, the hotel can help organise brilliant days out.

Alternatively, just pull on your walking boots and enjoy the natural treasures of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

Happy guests

Previous guests have shared plenty of praise for Lodge on Loch Lomond on TripAdvisor, including these recent reviews:

‘We stayed here about 10 years ago and had a great time. Returned today and what a transformation, it was lovely before but has been raised to a whole new level. Restaurant and bar have been redone, more modern, but still keeping the character. The rooms are just amazing. Our room didn’t have one but most rooms now have glass balconies which means the loch looks like the most beautiful infinity pool. WOW!!!!’

‘This is a great place to eat on Loch Lomond! If you have a boat there is a jetty, the restaurant overlooks the Loch and the food, service and staff are excellent! Decent menu and prices are typical for places around Loch Lomond.’

‘Amazing. Stayed overnight at the Lodge on Loch Lomond as part of a tour of Scotland and it was clearly the best stopover of our trip. We booked a Corbett room which had a balcony with an amazing view over the loch. When we eventually managed to drag ourselves off the balcony we had a lovely sauna in our own 2 person sauna which was part of our bathroom, truly amazing!! The only downside of this was that it set a standard that none of our other stopovers could hope to match and this, sadly, proved to be the case. Thanks for an amazing experience and we hope to return again in the very near future.’

What other 5pm bookers like about this deal...

It sounds perfect as a birthday gift for my lovely girlfriend. She doesn't think I'm romantic, so hopefully now she will change her mind.
