Tucked between Crianlarich and Glencoe, the four-star Bridge of Orchy Hotel might be deep in the Scottish Highlands but it is also handy for Glasgow and Edinburgh. You can reach it in a couple of hours or so by car, plus the train station is only a short stroll away.

Plan a treat for the new year

Available seven days a week from late January until the end of March 2020, the offer is for two people to enjoy a one or two night stay in a classic twin or double room.

A £20 per person dinner allowance for the a la carte menu plus a glass of wine is included on the first night, as well a full Scottish breakfast each morning. Morning choices will include traditional Scottish porridge or the filling West Highlander fry up.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at a supplement of £20 per room per night, payable directly to the hotel either when booking, or at check-in. It is advised you book in advance, as there are a limited number of pet-friendly rooms.

One child is also welcome, with under-threes staying for free.

The Bridge of Orchy’s newly refurbished guest rooms are decorated in a traditional style and overlook the surrounding scenery.

Beds have a comfy Hypnos mattress for a good night’s rest, while other features include a flat-screen TV as well as a hospitality tray with tea, coffee, bottled water and a selection of Scottish refreshments.
