For around two centuries, the hotel has been the hub of this small, local community.
The family-run Crinan Hotel which has been in the same family for 45 years has recently welcomed their daughter to the business and is an international meeting point for Hebridean sailors, fishermen, yachtsman, holiday-makers and, above all, lovers of seafood and the best Scottish produce.

A full Scottish breakfast is included in the offer – just the thing to set you up for a day exploring the West Coast.
Individually designed rooms
The hotel has twenty rooms over three floors and a lift to reach them. All the rooms have been individually designed by Frances Macdonald, one of the owners.
Classic rooms are all ensuite with a large bath and or shower, both tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, terrestrial television, telephone and complimentary toiletries.
There may be the option to upgrade to a superior double or twin room, family or balcony room from £50 per room per night.
A full Scottish breakfast is included in the offer but seafood lovers won’t regret booking in for lunch or dinner at the hotel’s Crinan Seafood Bar or Westward Restaurant.
Using ingredients such as scallops, crab and langoustines which are landed just 50m from the hotel, the kitchen has earned many top awards and glowing reviews for its fantastic food.
One of the best known hotels in Argyll, Crinan Hotel has lots of admirers. This Big Deal writer has enjoyed a couple of tremendous lunches at the hotel and the views really are spectacular.
But you don’t need to believe me. This is what one recent guest had to say on TripAdvisor:
‘Beautiful… I thoroughly recommend this hotel. The receptionist was extremely warm and welcoming and the hotel is very pet friendly; dogs are allowed everywhere except 1 of the restaurants.
The views are magnificent, the rooms are light and airy and the beds are so comfortable.
We ate in the seafood bar, which is delicious and reasonably priced. The whole place just has a unique and lovely feel to it and I can’t recommend highly enough. Thanks for an enjoyable and memorable stay. We will most definitely be back!’
