Just over an hour’s drive from Glasgow, The Creggans Inn Hotel is an award-winning, family-run business that sits on the shore of Loch Fyne with views to Inveraray.

Overnight break

Available seven days a week, the deal is for two people to relax with an overnight stay in a standard double or twin loch view room.

A choice of full Scottish or continental breakfast is included in the offer.

Option two, also available seven nights a week is for two people to enjoy a two consecutive night stay with breakfast each morning.

Upgrades to a superior loch view room may be available at £20 per room per night.

AA Rosettes

Should you choose to dine in the hotel, The Creggans Inn has two appealing dining options: MacPhunn’s Bar & Restaurant where you can enjoy an extensive bistro style menu or the Loch Fyne Dining Room which has two AA Rosettes.

Local, seasonal produce is at the heart of the menu in both MacPhunn’s and the Loch Fyne Restaurant.

In the restaurant, this might mean hand-dived Loch Fyne scallops; roast loin of Scotch lamb or halibut. In MacPhunn’s, the bar menu features dishes such as Cullen skink; West Coast salmon fillets and a steak and ale pie made with locally brewed beer.

The Dining Room menu may be served in MacPhunn’s on quieter nights.

‘Magical hotel on the banks of Loch Fyne. Creggans Inn is a beautiful small hotel with stunning views of Loch Fyne. Right on the loch side, Creggans is smart, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. From start to finish, the staff was excellent – professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful in every respect. Everything about the hotel seems to run like clockwork — yet there was a relaxed, family atmosphere.

‘We ate in the bistro both nights and the food was excellent. Really good quality and very tasty. All the public rooms were beautiful. On arrival, we had tea and fruit cake in the upstairs lounge with sink-in sofas and a huge picture window overlooking the loch. Breakfast was in a spacious dining room, again with incredible views over the pretty garden and onto the loch. I couldn’t rate this hotel highly enough. Stunning.’
