Option one is for a one night stay for two in a classic Cedar Wing sea view room including a continental breakfast each morning.

Each ensuite Cedar Wing room has either a private terrace or balcony overlooking the stunning views.

Option two is for an overnight stay in a classic Cedar Wing sea view room with a continental breakfast and evening meal.

Dinner will be a choice of two courses from the Bistro Menu (starter, main course or dessert) served in the Chartroom II Bistro. Typical dishes might be the Scottish smoked salmon and prawn salad followed by the rib-sticking Aberdeen Angus beef and black pudding lasagne – perfect after a brisk coastal walk.

Alternatively there is option to upgrade and dine in the hotel’s 2 AA Rosette Asknish Bay Restaurant with a £30 per couple allowance.

The Asknish kitchen serves fabulous local and seasonal produce including freshly caught seafood.

Specific dishes will depend on what is in season and available but typical choices might includes the Clachan Seil oysters, Loch Fyne langoustines grilled with garlic and parsley butter and the poached partridge served with honey-roasted vegetables, game crisps and watercress.

See & do in Oban

The NTS Arduaine Garden is right next door to the hotel. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, it always has lots of beautiful plants to admire – whatever the time of year.

The hotel is around twelve miles outside Oban… location is absolutely stunning, simply beautiful, with a wonderful sense of remoteness… THE most dog friendly hotel we have stayed in to date… dinner in Chartroom Bistro was lovely, service good. Dining at a window table overlooking the view again really makes for a glorious experience. Breakfast was also good, with great service… WiFi signal is strong and no issues connecting at all. I booked the break here for some rest and relaxation and we most certainly got it here. We are in the process of booking a return stay, and can’t wait to go back!’
