Each of the nine gorgeous and independently decorated bedrooms have well appointed en-suite bathrooms stocked with a selection of quality toiletries, cotton wool, tissues, shaving mirror and good selection of soft towels.

The house itself has a cosy snug area with comfy sofas and a bar.

A grand piano is the focus of the music lounge, accompanied by several guitars, amps, music stands and more comfy seating. The living room has ample seating, a flat screen TV, a selection of games, a small library and sound bar for iPods.

From rounds of golf to gentle cycling trips on almost deserted roads, the Isle of Bute offers plenty of fun activities. Horse riding is a popular past time on the island as are water sports, diving and, of course, making the most of the isle’s many coastal walks.

The West Island Way Walk starts in a wee village close by and is just one of the breathtaking walks available on the island.

A popular destination for fishing, the inland lochs are popular with anglers for coarse and game fishing. Loch Fad offers anglers an opportunity to fish for rainbow trout and is only three miles from the house. Anyone with an interest in sea angling will be spoilt for choice.
