‘Absolutely loved this place, the staff could not have been friendlier and the hotel was lovely! Despite an initial mistake with our booking they more than made up for it with the friendly staff, incredible food and stunning room. We enjoyed a lovely walk and a special anniversary dinner with lots of special touches the hotel had put on for us, the room was lovely, the bath was amazing, the four poster bed was beautiful and the place was peaceful and welcoming. Beautiful building, the best staff in the world, a friendly hotel dog and lots of cosy nooks with warm fires and plenty of books/games – absolutely perfect! Thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful! Oh and the view from the room was just stunning!’
‘We recently spent two nights at this beautiful property and were not disappointed. The check-in was a breeze, and while the stairs to our room made it a bit of a struggle with our large cases, the room was worth the effort!! We had dinner on the first night only and it was superb. All of the staff were wonderful and breakfast was a real treat. Sitting on verandah sipping our drinks with an uninterrupted view of Loch Long and the beautiful grounds before us and this majestic building behind us just added to the pleasure. It’s only about 45 minutes from Glasgow by car and Loch Lomond, the Trossachs and Inverary Castle and town are all in within an easy drive. Knockderry Country House Hotel is a wonderful option if you’re looking at a trip around Scotland’s southwest cost. Highly recommended.’
