Alternatively, you could just chill in the spacious sun lounge and gaze at Mull, Kerrera and the Firth of Lorne.

Stretch your legs

If you want to stretch your legs then there is plenty to do in Oban. You could visit Oban Distillery, walk up to McCaig’s Tower or stroll up Pulpit Hill for a superb view out over the town.

Ganavan Sands are not far away and there are loads of opportunities nearby for golf, walking, wildlife spotting and boat trips.

_‘Great hotel in beautiful location. We stayed at this lovely hotel for two nights last weekend. The hotel is lovely if perhaps a little tired in places… Our room was a little tired but squeaky clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable which is always a plus in any hotel. Facilities in the room were fine, although our shower door was awkward to use. 

We had a package which included dinner, bed and breakfast and the restaurant was absolutely excellent. The breakfast was table service, with varied choice of the usual good breakfast varieties including seafood. Dinner was what could only be described as outstanding. We had their six course taster menu and every single bit of it was excellent fine dining cuisine. 

The outdoor hot tub overlooking the bay is a little novel. We loved it… All in all, an excellent hotel in a beautiful location, which we’d definitely recommend for your stay in Oban.’_
