The Royal Marine Hotel has attracted lots of TripAdvisor reviews. These recent comments, edited for length:
‘Excellent. Booked an overnight stay which was excellent. Old hotel but just changed hands. Were made most welcome… Food was good… would go again. Just don’t expect grandeur but suited us. Only complaint would be parking is an issue if really busy.’
‘Enjoyable stay… The owner and his lovely, friendly staff can’t do enough for you. Not far from the centre of Dunoon and a stone’s throw from Hunter’s Quay ferry terminal… The hotel itself a little tired, as with a lot of these establishments these days, and must have been very grand in its heyday. If we are in the area again, we would return but would ask for one of the upgraded rooms next time… the room we had, although basic, was cosy and had a lovely comfortable bed. An enjoyable stay.’
Available until the end of October, this offer would be ideal for a getaway during the summer and autumn months.
This Big Deal would also make an ideal gift for anyone who could make good use of a seaside stay.
At just one hour forty minutes from Glasgow and a little over two and a half hours drive from Edinburgh, The Royal Marine Hotel is perfect for a romantic getaway on the coast.
