If you have recently tried to brush your teeth with a mop, or indeed scrub the floor with a toothbrush, then you probably need to take some time out.

Book in for some rest and relaxation with today’s Big Deal on a luxurious stay at Norwood Hall Hotel in Aberdeen.

Historic setting with modern comforts

Convenient for Aberdeen city centre and set within seven acres of tranquil, private gardens, Norwood Hall Hotel was built in 1881 on the site of the fifteenth century Pitfodels Castle.

While its origins go back centuries, the present hotel offers all the modern comforts you would expect from a 21st century, four star hotel.

Not least of which is the Tapestry Restaurant, the hotel’s superb, two AA Rosette restaurant.

Free upgrade to Feature King Room

Available seven days, this offer has two options.

Option one is for two people to stay overnight in a superb double or twin Feature King Room with a full Scottish breakfast in the morning and a three course table d’hôte dinner in the evening.

A cool bottle of Prosecco in your room on arrival will get your stay off to a suitably chilled start.

Option two is for two people to stay two nights in a Feature King Room with a three course table d’hôte dinner on the night you arrive; a full Scottish breakfast each morning and a cream tea on one of the days during your stay.

Both options include a late check out to noon so you won’t have to hurry your breakfast.

Comfortable rooms

Light and spacious, Feature King Rooms at Macdonald Norwood Hall Hotel offer stylish, elegant and sumptuous surroundings for guests. These rooms are beautifully decorated and offer king-size beds and 40” flat screen satellite TVs.

The beds are luxurious; the WiFi is free and the Arran Aromatics toiletries are always a treat and, of course, the fruit bowl and complimentary bottled water are welcome touches.

Classic Scottish dishes

A full breakfast is included in the Big Deal and both options also include a three course table d’hôte evening meal for both guests in the hotel’s Tapestry restaurant.

The proud holder of two AA Rosettes, it offers classic Scottish dishes made with local, seasonal produce.

Popular options include the Gressingham duck breast served with Dauphinoise potatoes, braised chicory, celeriac purée, roasted baby carrot and a five spice jus or the highland venison and redcurrant casserole with new potatoes, wild mushrooms and baby carrots.

Children welcome

Younger guests are welcome with those under five years of age staying free. There is a £15 supplement for children aged five to twelve. This includes breakfast.

Happily, kids eat free in April.

Happy guests

Macdonald Norwood Hall has many a fan on TripAdvisor. As these recent reviews show:

‘Lovely weekend. Stayed for two nights on a B&B deal with dinner on first night. We had a lovely stay. The Feature King Room was large and very comfortable with a king-sized bed, sofa and chair. The bathroom had a bath and large walk-in shower. The staff were friendly and our dinner was great. We got a bus into Aberdeen city centre on our second day for some shopping and food(ten minute walk to the bus stop). Breakfast was very good both mornings.’

‘Faultless. Spent one night here on a dinner bed and breakfast deal. The drive, grounds and gardens are immaculate and very pretty. The room and indeed the whole hotel was spotlessly clean, warm and in good repair. The room was large with a lovely walk-in shower and was equipped with everything you need. All staff were courteous, helpful, polite and friendly. We had a little bit of a wait for our evening meal but it was worth waiting for. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Breakfast was also very good with a great selection and choice. You will not be disappointed if you stay here and we will most definitely return.’
