Cosy Scottish restaurant in West End

As the name suggests, the restaurant was initially opened and run by two siblings and this cosy Kelvingrove restaurant maintains the warm family welcome but in a chic, modern setting. The Sisters is smart but casual with matt, monochrome colours contrasting with splashes of colour highlighted by the original Phillip Raskin paintings of wild Scottish landscapes.

Hearty Scottish food with locally sourced ingredients

The Sisters menu features a bit of everything; from hearty, sometimes rustic dishes to lighter bites and snacks, but they always produce tasty Scottish food. Patron Jacqueline O’Donnell is known for her passion for locally sourced ingredients and flies the flag for venison from Ardnamurchan, scallops from Ullapool and organic vegetables from Arran. These prime Scottish ingredients go into her kitchens fresh and emerge as Highland venison loin with kale and pesto or rare breed Ardunan Farm pork with apricot and savoury granola.

Old building looking onto Sauchiehall Street

The Sisters is set in an old tenement building where Kelvingrove Street meets the busy Sauchiehall Street in the West End of Glasgow. With its high ceilings and tall windows, the restaurant is not far from the city centre, with bus links available on Sauchiehall, St Vincent and Argyle Street.
