First time at the Glenskirlie. From the minute we walked through the door, we walked through the door to the when we left we were treated like royalty. The staff are so welcoming & friendly attending to you hand on foot but leaving you alone to enjoy your meal observing from the background to be on hand when required,the manager even comes round for a chat to all the tables when you finish, really cant say enough about the staff,on arrival to the restaurant we were show through to a lounge waiting area with an open coal fire and seated to wait on our table, where we were given our first taste of what the Glenskirlie kitchen had to offer, we were given an appetizer of broccoli & blue cheese veloute (like soup) with black pudding & pheasant on crostini,it was stunning, I could have finished a litre of it, then we were show through to the restaurant to be seated, the restaurant itself has a relaxing & nicely furnished surrounding,with low music playing in the background to fill in the gaps while eating,the next four courses that followed just built on the amazing experience to make the whole evening a wonderful time and great choice,will definitely be returning and would recommend it to anyone for any occasion.
